IBIS Inc have been in business since 1985 providing custom programming and
implementation services primarily to manufacturing and distribution companies.
Beginning in 1992 we began to focus on distribution,
with an emphasis on route sales and retail systems.
In association with GTS Computer Services we provided route sales support
using mobile handheld computers and printers to a number of
Canadian snack food companies.
Based on our experience with a couple of sizeable distribution
operations we have begun to bring our mobile computing systems into
the wireless age.
We believe that the wireless mode of operation offers significant benefits
over the traditional upload/download cycle using wired modems.
Even for quite small distribution operations, use of wireless
handhelds can more than justify the added costs.

In launching our wireless distribution services for route sales,
IBIS have associated with
GTS Computer Systems
of Mississauga and Saldanha Software Systems of Scarborough.
We bring the best of our combined knowledge and expertise to providing
a route based distribution system applicable to companies of every size.
Available in July 2002, our wireless invoicing system can operate
in Southern Ontario wherever GPRS signal is available.
This system can also work on CDPD devices elsewhere in Canada and in the USA.
Invoices are produced on the mobile handheld device directly from information
on the server.
The moment the invoice is printed at the handheld, it is
also available on the server database.
Sales information and pricing is up to the minute, and invoices are
ready for EDI without delay.
