Route Sales Telnet Screen Dialog Samples

On the right is a list of "screen shots" which are intended to illustrate how a telnet session will look on the screen of a wireless handheld. To simplify understanding of the process, the "screen" may be extended to show the entire dialog, which would otherwise scroll out of view on the handheld.

Click on a link to bring up a pop-up of the screen shot and an explanation of what is going on. The things the route salesman would enter are coloured in red, and what the computer generates is coloured black. Close the display windows when you have finished viewing them. If you click on other screen shot links then the original windows will be replaced with the new display.

For a custom application the receipt format and dialog details can be readly altered.

This is a sample dialog which currently operates in our online demo. You can also see what the receipts look like on the reports page by requesting a transaction reprint. Reprinted transactions have "DUPLICATE" inserted in the heading and will be dated with the reprint date, showing the original date for reference, but otherwise they look the same as what the handheld would print.
